Pale Pink Cross

Pink Cross fox: a beautiful pale cross mutation of the pink fox. its unsure on how common these foxes are but when they first showed up they where a pure accident from what we where told. That randomly two cross pups showed up in a litter of Pink fox. So the question is; is a Pink Cross a Mutation of a Mutation? LOL.

I'm not sure what causes the mutation but apparently to get a pink cross you don't have to really cross it with anything just breed two pinks. I think these days, just like white mark pinks you can breed them with regular pinks to produce the mutation with out it being lethal gene. I have been told pink white marks can not produce a mature litter if crossed with two white marks, however it will if its crossed with a standard pink and a white mark pink but you have less chance at the white marks. so not sure if it works the same with the cross mutation.


EH, either way, this pretty boy here is going to get mounted up along side my Pale Pink fox, so I can have a pretty female and pale male! by far this guy is actually the lightest I had and the best coloration!
