Snow Glow curse by AdarkerNEMISIS Snow Glow curse by AdarkerNEMISIS
I'm cursed, I swear. Every fucking snow glow I have falls apart on me. I was devistated when he started to fall apart. (considering he's the 3rd one, not counting a moon glow from last year).

His muzzle, on the left side and under his left eye have patches of missing fur, his left ear is partly bare, and his right ear just stuck to my finger and slipped right off the earliner when I moved it so he's missing about 1/3 of his right ear. I was seriously ready to rip him apart and sell him as scrap. I'm getting so LIVID with WLG and their tans. This is the third fox from this year to do this!

Amazingly I was able to get him to hold up enough and I'm not touching him till he's dry. Still a piece of shit but I'm going to keep him. I'll send him in to be done poseable so I can shelf him for the rest of his sorry life.

His name was noir but I need to rename him. Noir is for a show snow glow fox.

wow, that's too bad. Snow Glows are one of the prettiest colors out these. I know of a tanney called Wildlife Fur Dressing they seem to be cheaper than wildlife gallery though I have't tried them yet. I'm going to send some rabbit pelts to them this year and see how the tan it.

Dont. Theyre local for me. Theyre high and mighty assholes who ruin hides with grease and slippage and their turnaround times are atrocious. I wouldnt trust them with anything worth anything. Golenstates bad too. Not as bad, but theyre unprofessional except for the woman working the desk and even then ladt year everything just about was swiss cheese tanned full of holes

From someone who's dealt with different tanneries and has been burned by a lot of them, its a matter of luck of the draw really.  I've had HORRIBLE experiences with East Coast and Tubari while others had good experiences with them.  Any tannery your going to sometimes run into issues, its just a matter of weeding them out or just opting to tan yourself.  What kinda helps is asking around and checking up reviews on them to see if they are a 'good' tannery.  Also checking if the tannery is a fur dressing tannery or a taxidermy tannery since that is also a factor.  I know for example Moyle Mink does great garment tanning but heard taxidermy tanning is not that great compare to other tans.

Personally have had decent experiences with WLG.  My bobcat I just got got back they did beat up a bit and put a few holes in the legs but nothing too severe that I couldn't sew up.  I know others hear have had different experiences with them otherwise and as said, its basically 'tannery roulette' when it comes to any of them.

East coast lost 2 of my coyotes, just LOST them. Joe is a great guy but I seriously facepalm when you lose peoples stuff.
I get my stuff tanned at H&H tannery.

If you do decide to part him out, I'll buy the whole thing, sans head like that silver you sold me a bit back. Hopefully it won't have to come to that, that face is very elegant!

I did manage to salvage him. Snow glows are like my ultimate color phase and I'm super over protective of them. So unless the legs want to fall off during the armature works then I doubt I'll be parting him out.

You should be proud. He proved to be a challenge, you conquered it, and your bond grew ever stronger!
