Working with diesel to exercise abit more and to practice pulling. My main goal right now is getting him used to a lag and weight. Let him pull on his own, his first reaction reminded me of our old mustang bucking and rearing up while trading him. It was funny to watch for abit for a dog. He's used to now and goes in a trot been making him load the log around.

Looking forward to when he can haul the wood around from pasture to pasture.

Wow he's really filled out! Gorgeous dog! I was helping out with dog handling for the Iditarod restart this year and not a single on of those dogs looked as good as him! Have you tried skijoring with him?

Yup, I believe in working dogs. Diesel is training to be a hauler, maybe when I get things all settled on a house I will probably be having me a Damn husky farm.

I'm working on Axel my red and white, he's not a working husky like diesel who's energetic. he's such a Damn mellow dog. Any pull on a leash he just sits down and waits. But he's well trained and even though he's fully intact he's rather neutered in personality and acts like a ten year old lab even though he just two years old. I take him to car shows and meeting with me. So soon I will actually be using him as a registered service dog when I go into therapy.

thats awesome! i work at a petsmart and its so sad how many fat and under-stimulated dogs i see. huskys especially, i like looking at them and im sure when worked or if you have a super mellow guy like yourself there great. but when they come in to get groomed all i can see is an energetic beast that the owners dont bother to train XD

so nice to se someone who gives the dog what it needs, mentally and physically :)

Gosh he's gotten super pretty!
I hope all his training pays off! I bet he will learn fast though. Huskies are smarties. :3

They are, diesels catching on quite nicely. He gets excited to pull everyday. I make him work out side the property walking him up and down the road to the house and back each day.
